WELCOME TO THE CHILDREN'S DEPARTMENT of the Cranberry Corners Bookstore
Here are just a few of the books that the children of Cranberry Corners love to read again and again. We must add that they have caught the fancy of more than a few adults, as well!
Parents and grandparents, you know your kids best. It is important to choose books for kids which suit their ages and will be of interest to them. The right books can develop a love of reading and of books from a very early age, long before a child can actually read the words. So read the book yourself first. . . .yes, all the way through. . . .before deciding if it is right for your child.
The Doorbell Rang by Pat Hutchins. We just love this book! And as everyone agrees, "No one makes cookies like Grandma!"
Switch on the Night by Ray Bradbury. Still the perfect "afraid of the dark" book.
Something to Remember Me By by Susan V. Bosak with Laurie McGaw. Not for the very young, but a lovely story for school-age kids.
Little Rabbit Goes to Sleep by Tony Johnston. Another excellent nighttime/bedtime story
If You Give a Mouse a Cookie by Laura Joffe Numeroff Delightful tale (no pun intended) the kids will help you read.
Love You Forever by Robert Munsch Every child should have this book. So should every parent.
Mrs. Gigglebelly is Coming for Tea by Donna Guthrie Every mom/grandmom will appreciate this one!
Jessica by Kevin Henkes A cute story about an imaginary friend....or is she?
Happy Christmas Gemma by Sarah Hayes It's baby Gemma's first Christmas, and she does her very best to help the family prepare for it. Really cute.
