GIFTS FROM THE HEART
A pretty assortment of homemade cookies can be packaged in an
inexpensive airtight tin, available at most large stores such as
Walmart, Kmart, Target, etc., as well as specialty and craft stores.

To make the presentation special, put a paper lace doily in the
bottom of the tin.  To add even more pizzazz, add paper muffin or
mini-muffin cups, depending on size of cookies, and fill each cup
with a different variety of cookie.  Try to use at least three or four
different kinds of cookies.  Cover the tin and tie with a pretty ribbon,
add a gift tag, and you have a gift anyone would love to receive!
Pretty little glass jars or small tins of spiced tea, or Friendship
Tea, also make lovely and appreciated gifts.  The recipe is in
our Christmas Tea pages, and small decorative glass jars can be
bought in the stores listed above.  Just fill the jar or tin, seal
the lid on with Scotch tape to avoid spills, add a band of bright
ribbon and bow, and a tag with instructions.  Great gift for
friends, teachers, Scout leaders, co-workers, anyone!
