One bright Thanksgiving morning, some of the animals of Shady Hill Forest
gathered together in Grandma Lyn's yard. There was Deer, Raccoon,
Possum, Squirrel, Fox, Rabbit, and Skunk. But someone was missing!
"Where is Tom Turkey?", Squirrel asked. "I haven't seen him anywhere."
Raccoon said, "Tom Turkey heard Grandma Lyn say she wanted to
have him for Thanksgiving dinner! So he ran away!"
"Come on," said Deer, "Let's go look for him. Look, he left a trail
of candy corn behind him! Maybe that will help us find our way." |
